Much has been said about the impeding ticket prices, with a standing ticket expected to cost up to 96 pound, a lot of money but unfortunately this is the way things are now. The big bands can charge that amount because people will pay it, and with many presuming this is a backlash from Britain’s exit from the EU, and the inflated costs of touring, it seems this is going to be the going rate for seeing big bands travelling to this country.
To focus on the positives now, Hardwired was a damn good album, arguably the best the band have sounded in years, hearing songs from this album in a live scenario will be great, Moth into Flame and Atlas! Rise will sit well amongst the set list i’m sure. The band have decided to take Norwegian Black metal meets Rock n roll band Kvelertak, out on tour with them. With James Hetfield previously expressing that he is a fan of this band, it would be presumed that the band has been hand selected by Metallica. A great band who’s energetic live show will definitely go down well, keep an eye out for the owl!
